We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join our team, covering the Midlands/South region. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive Legionella risk assessments in line with ACOP L8, HSG274, and other relevant guidance and standards. Develop detailed reports, including schematics and clear action plans, to address identified risks. Advise clients on appropriate control measures, monitoring programs, and compliance with regulations. Carry out water hygiene audits and surveys for a range of systems, including cooling towers, hot and cold-water systems, and process water systems. Liaise with clients to ensure understanding of reports and recommendations, providing expert guidance where needed. Keep up-to-date with the latest industry standards, legislation, and best practices. Support the company’s training and development programs as required. Qualifications and Experience: Proven experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor, preferably within the water treatment or water hygiene industry. Comprehensive knowledge of Legionella management, ACOP L8, HSG274, BS 8580-1, and related legislation. Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds in Legionella Risk Assessing or equivalent. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce detailed and accurate reports. Full UK driving license (essential). Experience working across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, and healthcare (preferred). Skills and Competencies: Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule efficiently. Strong customer service ethos with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
