Job Title: Mechanical Project Manager
Location: Kent (London Projects)
Salary: £70K - £75K + company van + travel
The Role:
1. Lead and manage mechanical projects from planning through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to specification.
2. Oversee commercial fit-out projects (Cat A & B), as well as mechanical works in the education and hospitality sectors.
3. Coordinate design, installation, and commissioning of air conditioning, ventilation, 2-pipe & 4-pipe systems, insulation, controls, and leak detection.
4. Supervise cross-functional teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
5. Manage project budgets, track costs, and provide financial reports to stakeholders.
6. Identify and mitigate project risks, maintaining control of timelines and resources.
7. Ensure compliance with quality standards and industry regulations across all stages.
8. Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients and project teams to ensure satisfaction and clarity.
9. Allocate resources efficiently, including personnel, materials, and equipment.
10. Attend progress meetings and provide regular updates to management and clients.

1. A growing building services contractor delivering mechanical, air conditioning, and ventilation projects across commercial sectors.
2. Projects include office fit-outs (Cat A & B), as well as mechanical installations in the education and hospitality sectors.
3. Based in Kent and operates throughout London.
The Ideal Candidate:
1. Proven experience delivering mechanical/building services projects.
2. Strong understanding of mechanical systems, project planning, and execution.
3. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with experience managing diverse teams.
4. Confident using project management tools and software.
5. Proactive and solution-focused with strong communication and decision-making abilities.
6. Must hold a valid UK driving licence.
