As Director, Marketing CSL Seqirus UK and Ireland you will be responsible for the development and implementation of marketing strategies for new and existing products in UK and Ireland. You will lead the team to implement marketing strategy in collaboration with Sales, Medical, and other functions. Lead cross-functional teams, to drive strategic plan, develop and execute the seasonal influenza marketing strategy and channel strategy for UK/Ireland to exceed the flu annual sales target. You will lead cross functional teams to drive new product launches through engaging internal and external stakeholders to achieve policy and reimbursement. Present UK and Ireland marketing strategy in Regional and Global forums. Your experience as a strong Marketer both strategically and operationally within vaccines, plus your people leadership skills will be key for this position.

Responsibilities include: -
Strategic Marketing
Annual Strategic and Budget Plan development, alignment with the Global and International teams.
Sales forecast and budget development
Brand/portfolio strategic positioning
Input to global product strategy through participation in Global Brand Teams
Create competitive differentiation and competitive advantage
Achieve full alignment around the brand strategy and execution with internal cross functional stakeholders.
Lead policy strategy development to protect market share and drive revenue growth. Building on Real world evidence insights to drive growth.
Drive new product launches and manage policy and pricing with cross functional engagement
In-depth knowledge of the UK Health environment, Influenza recommendations and policy (e.g. JCVI recommendations, Green Book related to influenza, Annual Influenza Programme)
In-depth knowledge of UK& Ireland reimbursement environment
Drive tender strategy to grow shares.
Oversee tender submissions to ensure high quality, cross functional approved responses.
Influenza clinical information knowledge of key clinical data, competitor’s product knowledge, apply knowledge to develop sound brand/portfolio strategy
Plan market research activities in line with strategic objectives
Knowledge of competitors landscape and pipeline
Pre- and post-marketing of new products
Drive Innovation to enhance competitive edge
Operational Marketing
Support the UK and Ireland commercial operations to be successful exceeding sales budgets
Define the A&P budget requirements related to achieving the UK & Ireland flu Strategy.
Meet with key stakeholders to execute the Government Engagement plan with the Policy team, Medical and Country Head UK & Ireland.
Lead and engage the cross-functional team on Strategy and Vision and lead the group to define strategic objectives and tactics
Support Senior Brand Managers / Brand Managers to develop and execute robust brand/portfolio strategy and marketing mix to support the flu portfolio and ensure the timely provision of support material & campaigns
New product launches: Drive pre-marketing and post-marketing activities.
Competitive intelligence regular update and integration in the portfolio and new launches strategy
Support Senior Brand Managers / Brand Managers in the development of brand strategy and key messages. Ensure consistency of the brand activities and tactics with the portfolio/brand strategy
Oversee Communication activities plan and execution across channels including participation to conferences and congresses
Management and accountability of external agencies to meet objectives
Collaboration with Business Operations team to fulfil flu cycle activities from pre-booking to returns in line with timelines (e.g. customers communication, flu proposition terms)
People Leadership
Lead Brand Managers to execute the operational marketing activities
Develop the skills of Brand Managers and build talent to ensure a robust succession plan
Lead Brand Managers to produce and deliver promotional materials to required standard and timelines
Compliance
Cross-Functional Collaboration for a flawless and successful execution of the marketing strategy
Act at all times in a manner that is consistent with the Seqirus Values and Behaviours
Ensure compliance with all internal and external policies, procedures, training and regulations e.g. Code of Practice, financial processes
Participate to all compliance training in line with timelines and ABPI Code of Practice requirements
Approval of promotional materials
Qualifications, Skills and Experience: -
University degree in science and/or degree in Business / Marketing
10+ years marketing experience in pharmaceutical or relevant industry.
Knowledge of the UK Healthcare market
Strong commercial awareness
Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
