SPR Lead Network Security Architect
Location: Glasgow – hybrid working
Salary: £58-72K (plus up to 15% bonus, and single healthcare)

The Lead Network Security Architect will integrate into an active and ambitious global cyber security function, contributing to SPR cyber security purpose of delivering cyber-resilient OT and IT, to enable a safe and reliable electricity supply to customers.
What you’ll be doing
As the Lead Network Security Architect, you’ll be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security of the operational technology (OT) network that supports renewable energy generation and distribution.
Within this role, you’ll ensure the OT network is protected from cyber threats, complies with standards and regulations, meets business needs, and ensures data flows from OT to IT networks are implemented securely and in accordance with secure by design principles. In addition, you’ll lead the overall governance of the SPR secure by design process across offshore and onshore, and be responsible for the implementation onshore.
Key aspects of the role include:
* Developing, maintaining and implementing secure by design process across SPR.
* Designing and deploying secure OT network infrastructure and devices.
* Integrating the OT network with the IT network and the cloud services.
* Designing the implementation of VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security tools for the OT network.
* Supporting vulnerability scans, penetration tests, and security audits of the OT network.
* Investigating and resolving security incidents and events affecting the OT network.
* Creating and updating security documentation and reports for the OT network.
What we’re looking for
* Experience within a Lead Network Security role
* A solid understanding of the OT network protocols, standards, and technologies.
* Strong knowledge of Network Security principles, practices, and tools
* A proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing secure OT network solutions and controls.
* Experience managing cyber security in an (IT and OT environment)
* Experience driving continuous cyber security improvement activities
* Experience with security platforms such as SIEM/SOAR, XDR and Vulnerability Management is advantageous.
* Experience management of Cyber Security (CISSP, CISM, BCS ISMP, SABSA or equivalent)
