The Role: We are seeking a proactive and experienced Resource/Sourcing/Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our team on a 9-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. This role is crucial in ensuring we continue to attract, source, and engage the best IT talent in the industry. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate clients to understand hiring needs and develop effective sourcing strategies. Utilise various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, to identify and engage top IT talent. Conduct initial candidate screenings and assessments to determine suitability for specific roles. Maintain and update the candidate database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information. Build and nurture relationships with potential candidates, creating a talent pipeline for current and future opportunities. Coordinate and schedule interviews, providing timely feedback to candidates and hiring managers. Assist in employer branding initiatives to promote itecopeople as an employer of choice. Provide regular updates and reports on sourcing activities and candidate pipeline status. Key Requirements: Proven experience in a talent acquisition, sourcing, or recruitment role, preferably within the IT sector. Strong understanding of various sourcing techniques and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and internal stakeholders. Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficient in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. A positive and proactive attitude, with a passion for recruitment and talent acquisition.
