We are currently recruiting for a Store Assistant/Goods Receiver to join our Truly Talented team.
What we offer
* £12.41 per hour
* Permanent, Part-time contract (24hrs per week) covering a 7-day period
The Role
The Store Person/Goods Receiver ensures the efficient running of all stores area processes within the hotel including deliveries, distribution, checking, and monitoring.
Responsibilities of the role will include but are not limited to:
* Ensure strict stock control procedures are adhered to at all times and report any failures in systems as a matter of urgency to the Operations Manager/General Manager;
* Accept all deliveries to the stores and always follow our company delivery instructions including temperature checking of product & spot checking delivery vehicles;
* Rotate stock to ensure older products are used first;
* Ensure all deliveries are put away in the corresponding areas;
* Ensure all stock movements are correctly recorded and that all necessary documentation is sent to the Finance department;
* Maintain all stock levels according to guidelines, conducting stock taking checks as part of daily, weekly, and monthly duties as directed by the Operations Manager/General Manager;
* Check all sell-by dates on a daily/weekly basis to ensure items are used and waste is kept to a minimum;
* Prepare order requests daily as a result of checks process, ensuring the items ordered are in line with company stocking policies;
* Ensure breakages are correctly recorded, investigate stock losses, and complete all necessary reporting documentation;
* Attend Stock Take de-brief meetings to report all activities and actions;
* Maintain high levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and efficiency in all stores areas, as well as manage the hotel's beer line process;
* Be accountable for any keys and cash signed for at the start of each shift, ensuring stores areas are kept secure at all times.
You must have the right to work in the UK to be eligible for this role. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from all candidates prior to commencing employment.
