We have an exciting 12 month secondment / fixed term opportunity for a motivated Occupational Therapist to join the Urgent Community Response Team in the Exeter South & West Cluster. The team is multi-professional with collaborative working between OTs, Physios, Nursing, and support worker colleagues.

Job Responsibilities
A successful candidate should have a keen interest in rehabilitation and promoting independence of patients with a variety of long-term conditions. The team supports to facilitate hospital discharge as well as the prevention of admission, working to optimise a patient's ability and quality of life. There is close working with the community rehabilitation and community nursing teams, and the team is well supported with clinical leadership with a structured supervision and in-service training programme.
The service operates from 8am-8pm, 7 days a week and covers the areas of Broadclyst, Pinhoe, Topsham, Exminster, Alphington, St Thomas, and Starcross.
Working Pattern: 26.5 hours per week. The service operates from 8am-8pm, 7 days a week, with shifts to cover this on a rota basis. Please contact us to discuss working patterns further.
