Job Summary
You will be given fantastic opportunities to showcase your design flair. Projects include small domestic extensions, conversions, and new build homes. You will work closely with our long-standing list of existing and new clients designing self-builds and individual developments of 1 to 25+ properties, including listed building work. Our client base is predominantly domestic, but we do commission commercial projects of any scale when the opportunity arises.
You will be responsible for taking forward approved designs to construction-level drawings. A sound knowledge of current U.K. Building Regulations is essential for this role along with a good understanding of construction techniques. Our projects are predominantly domestic residential schemes working for homeowners, house builders, housing developers, and private investors.

The Company is looking for an enthusiastic, reliable, honest professional with a minimum of 3-4 years experience in a similar role.
Responsibilities and Duties
* Design flair required with all projects.
* You will work on projects from conception to completion.
* Conducting measured surveys.
* Liaising with Structural Engineers.
* Exploring new construction technology.
* Working directly with clients.
* A sound knowledge of the UK Building Regulations.
* Preparation of working drawings.
* Problem solving.
* Site meetings.
* Submission of Building Regulation Applications.
* Working as part of a team or independently.
Qualifications and Skills
* Revit - would be desirable but not essential.
* Sketchup.
* Photoshop - would be desirable but not essential.
* Word.
* Excel.
* Good knowledge of construction detailing.
* Good understanding of Building Regulations.
* Minimum of 3-4 years experience in a similar role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
Office Hours:
* Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
Work Location: In person, office-based.
