Field Service Engineer
West Yorkshire
£45,000 + Overtime (Door to door pay) + benefits
I am seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a leading food business. In this role, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing food processing and packaging equipment at client sites across West Yorkshire. You'll play a critical part in ensuring our clients' operations run smoothly, efficiently, and without downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled maintenance, emergency repairs, and installation of food industry machinery.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues on-site.
Provide technical support and training to clients as needed.
Maintain accurate service records and communicate effectively with the service team.
Travel across West Yorkshire to client locations, with occasional out-of-area support as required.
Proven experience in a similar field service role, ideally within the food processing or manufacturing industry.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and PLC-based systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings.
Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
A full UK driving license.
£45,000 + Overtime with performance-based bonuses.
