Job Description Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager required to join a leading engineering supplier of Hydraulic Engineering products and services. The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will focus on developing new business opportunities and managing key accounts across for Hydraulic / MRO products such as hoses, fittings, valves, pumps, cylinders, power packs, and similar Hydraulic related products. The successful Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager will ideally have experience selling or managing key accounts of products related to Fluid power / Hydraulics such as hoses, fittings, valves, pumps, power units, valves, cylinders, and or similar hydraulic / mechanical engineering products. Maintaining fluid power / Hydraulic product sales with demonstration, exhibition, and negotiation to achieve targets. Will also support the field service team by providing technical support as well as hands on support. Work remotely / field based with regular visits to customer sites. Liaise with various engineering departments. Area Sales Manager / Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager Requirements Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within mechanical engineering. Experience selling Fluid power / Hydraulics such as hoses, fittings, valves, pumps, power units, valves, cylinders, and or similar hydraulic / mechanical engineering products. Full product training provided. Experienced Hydraulic Engineers are highly encouraged to apply. Determination, enthusiasm, and motivation to succeed, grow, and bring on new business within Fluid Power marketplace. Full clean driving license. Willingness to operate remotely with travel to customer sites across the North East of the UK when required.
