West Sussex Alternative Provision College (WSAPC) is an educational establishment based across the county on Seven separate sites. We provide education to young people who are not accessing mainstream education. What we’re looking for
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive Exams & Data Officer to assist the Data & Communication Manager in the administration of examinations at our centres. You will be flexible and resourceful, with excellent organisational and communication skills. You will be a team player, but you will also be able to work autonomously, and you will have a firm commitment to inclusion and equal opportunities for all.
You will liaise closely with teaching and learning staff and make examination entries and registrations, arranging resources and dealing with day-to-day operational issues. You will manage secure download and dissemination of exam results in August, including the provision of results statistics to the senior leadership team.
The key duties include but are not limited to:
1. Administration of all internal and external examinations in accordance with the Joint Council for Qualification (JCQ) regulations to include:
2. Maintenance and operation of the MIS examination module.
3. Receipt, log and secure storage of examination materials.
4. Organisation and oversight of exam day arrangements.
5. Review, maintenance and update of all college examination policies.
6. Liaison with SENDCo re access arrangements.
7. Management of assessment tracking systems.
8. Management of College reporting systems.
9. Provision of concise and accurate data reports for the College Leadership Team.
You will have:
* Maths and English GCSE
* Excellent ICT and data skills
* Knowledge of examination practice and procedures
* Meticulous attention to detail
* The ability to relate well to students and adults
