Vehicle Paint Technician
Job summary:
As a Vehicle Paint Technician working from our Accident Repair Centre in York, you will accurately and skilfully undertake the paint refinish and repair of a wide range of motor vehicles, ensuring the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction.
1. £40,360 OTE dependent upon qualifications and experience.
2. £2,500 sign on bonus, paid in the second months salary.
3. 34 days annual leave (inc. bank holidays), increasing to 36 days at 5 years’ service and 38 days at 10 years’ service.

Key Responsibilities will include:
13. Undertaking repair activities on customer vehicles to the highest standard within the scheduled times, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and minimising return to workshop.
14. Accurately and skilfully undertaking the paint refinish and repair of motor vehicles.
15. Identifying and mixing paint colours using the approved mixing systems, keeping wastage to a minimum.
16. Carrying out all repairs according to best practice procedures, using the factory times.
17. Using all paint mixing schemes and drying areas/equipment accurately and correctly for all paint repairs.
18. Actively setting out to achieve and exceed departmental objectives.
19. Ensuring all work is completed safely and complies with Company, Brand and industry guidelines.
20. Ensuring you are constantly up to date with skills and best practice in your industry.
21. Safeguarding customers’ vehicles and their contents whilst in the workshop.
Qualifications:
22. Proven experience of painting vehicles to a high standard.
23. A customer centric approach, always striving to deliver service above customer expectations.
24. A City & Guilds qualification or other adequate qualifications such as a recognised apprenticeship or other manufacturer approved training scheme.
25. Excellent attention to detail with an organised and methodical approach to problem solving.
