We have a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Fares & Ticketing Team Leader to join a well known, Birmingham based Tour Operator. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily running of their Fares & Ticketing department, ensuring the team complete all processes and tasks within the deadlines required.

Hours of work are between Mon - Fri 9am - 6pm and ideally will be based in our client's Birmingham office, however our client can also consider hybrid and homebased working options.

Role of Fares & Ticketing Team Leader:
1. Amadeus/GDS champion for the company and keep up to date with any new products/development,assist in training, testing and implementation.
2. Queue management – ensure all q’s are kept up to date including: schedule changes, general, web, re-issues and q’s are checked at the end of the day to ensure everything has been actioned for that day.
3. Monitor schedule changes and ensure that agents/customers are advised of the changes.
4. Make any alterations to bookings, update back office systems to reflect the changes.
5. Ensure tickets/re-isssues are issued within the deadlines
6. Assist with BSP reconciliation and process refunds
7. Investigate ADM’s/ACM’s on a monthly basisand dispute with airlines where required, address any staff losses
8. Assist the reservations team with any fare queries
9. Assist with the set up of new E-accounts & ongoing relationships
10. Ensure that reservations team are updated with new fares, special fares, changes to routings
Skills required for the role:
11. Excellent fares & ticketing knowledge
12. Previous supervisory/managerial experience
13. Strong GDS knowledge including Amadeus & Travelport
14. Able to communicate effectively
15. Keen attention to detail
16. Strong product knowledge and business awareness
17. Ability to work under pressure
18. Strong organisation & time management skills
