Business Development Executive We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Executive to join our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and nurturing relationships with prospects in order to promote the services of the client and secure a sales meeting. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our client and work with both internal teams and external clients to deliver exceptional services that meet their needs. Benefits £45,000 - £55,000 basic salary DOE. Cycle to work scheme Service awards Responsibilities Identify and target prospective new clients through comprehensive lead sourcing, research and outreach efforts (via a variety of channels). Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed sales targets. Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients. Present and promote the company’s consultancy services to potential clients, demonstrating the value and benefits of our offerings. With the objective of securing an appointment for a sales colleague to attend and close. Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans to achieve sales goals. Utilise CRM software effectively to manage outreach, track prospect interactions, and maintain a clear record of sales activities. Ensure a disciplined approach to maintaining a healthy sales funnel and achieving set activity and conversion targets. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, SMEs, and delivery teams, to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction. Stay updated on the latest trends and industry best practices. Qualifications Proven experience in sales, particularly within a consultancy or professional services environment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels of an organization. Fluency in management-level terminology and the ability to present complex ideas in a clear and concise manner. Strong lead generation, business development, negotiation, and appointment setting skills. Proven track record of pursuing and securing new business opportunities. Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision. Proficiency in CRM software A bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred. You may have experience in addition to this which we will be happy to discuss.
