A global manufacturing business established in 2001 and have continued to grow from strength to strength, currently recruiting for an Export Coordinator to join their logical team. With their products being widely used, this role will see you working for an ever-expanding business that continues to strive to achieve new heights within their industry.
The position as Export Coordinator requires you to hold:
1. Detailed knowledge of export documentation, including experience of incoterms, bills of lading, dangerous goods notes, certificates of origin, and commercial invoices.
2. Completion of export training courses.
3. Proficient skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
4. Knowledge of SAP would be advantageous.
5. Driven to deliver excellent customer service, meeting deadlines for getting products to clients on time.
6. Effective communicator with the ability to problem-solve issues and competently liaise with carriers, handling agents, and customers to find solutions that resolve exceptions and discrepancies.
7. Flexible in your approach, supporting other members of the team and the demands of the department.
8. Strong attention to detail skills providing accuracy and consistency.
9. Personable with the energy and enthusiasm to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude and professional manner.
The successful candidate will need to have export and customs clearance experience ideally from within a manufacturing, production, or supplier-based environment, a good understanding of road and ocean freight, experience with ERP or CRM systems, and a good administrative skill set. This would be the ideal role for someone who has worked as a freight coordinator, freight forwarder, or logistics coordinator.
