The domestic department maintains very high standards. After completing full training, the successful candidates will be expected to carry out the full range of domestic duties. These include cleaning bathrooms, toilets, ward areas, emptying bins, replenishing soap dispensers, hand towels and sanitisers. Main duties of the job To maintain a clean and hygienic environment for patients, staff and visitors in line with National Standards of Cleanliness. Establish and maintain good working relationships and clear line of communication with Supervisors, Ward Teams, Departmental staff, Patients and Visitors. The domestic assistant will be a member of the healthcare team providing a comprehensive service to the patients care and well-being.
