Civil Construction Team Leader / Skilled Civil Worker
Remo Contractors Pty Ltd are offering an exciting full-time employment opportunity for an experienced Civil Construction Team Leader / Civil Worker to join our family owned and operated business.

About the role
Reporting directly to the Site Supervisor your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Leading & working alongside a work group including civil plant operators, trades-people & labourers
2. Conducting daily pre-start hazard risk assessments & tool box briefings
3. Working closely with the project management team regarding service and production targets & various reporting
4. Coordinating day to day site construction activities
5. Maintaining safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following and ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to;
6. Complying with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate for this role must be able to demonstrate:
1. Experience in Civil Construction activities – setting levels, base preparation, hand tools, power tools.
2. A valid “MR” class drivers license (Plant/equipment or HR license would be advantages)
3. Industry white card
4. Efficient and effective work systems, with strong ability to problem solve
5. Ability to work unsupervised
6. Confident and decisive
7. A high level of verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
8. Demonstrated ability to lead individuals and small work teams
9. Highly developed time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
10. Attention to detail, with a safety and quality focus

Experience
1. Civil Construction: 3 years (Preferred)
Licences
1. White Card (required)
2. Workzone Traffic Management (desired but not essential)
3. Provide First Aid (desired but not essential)
