To be considered for this position you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin.
Key Duties:
1. Responsible for driving and running the unit alongside clinical duties in the home, including observation, medication, reviewing and evaluating individual care plans, and providing clinical guidance to the care team.
2. Accountable for ensuring policies and standards meet our high clinical standard and offering clinical guidance to the whole care team, crucial in assisting with all CQC tasks.
3. Forge a real connection with our residents and their family, providing the kindness and support they deserve.
4. Take responsibility for the well-being of our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
5. Coach and guide the team, providing formal and informal teaching programmes for colleagues and other care professionals.
6. Carry out assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans for each resident.
7. Monitor work areas and practices to ensure they are safe and conform to the relevant standards, policies, and legislation.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
1. Ability to lead a team of care staff.
2. Passionate about delivering great care and supporting the residents and their families.
3. A team player who engages well with others.
4. Able to communicate effectively at all levels.
5. Able to demonstrate awareness and understanding of the CI/CQQ/RQIA National Care Standards.
6. Demonstrate an understanding and application of relevant legislation in relation to the role.
7. Able to deliver nursing care in a clinical environment.
The successful Nurse will receive an excellent salary up to GBP19.71 per hour, with an annual salary up to GBP45,096.48 per annum. We currently have vacancies for both days and night shifts available.
