Your mission As a procurement administrator, you will support our Head of Procurement and will be assisting in the day-to-day running of the procurement department, ensuring excellent service is delivered to our internal and external stakeholders. Key Tasks Maintain effective communications with all disciplines within the project, the BAM business and supply chain. Provide high quality customer service in all communications with internal and external customers Check information received on requisitions to ensure all information is correct to allow Draft Order to be raised, if not refer queries to originator to be resolved Produce Requisition (Draft Orders) within SAP to agreed company standards and formatting Upload Requisitions (Draft Orders) to appropriate Electronic Document Management to obtain electronic signatures / approvals Ensure Requisitions are distributed and approved by the relevant authorised individuals in line with current signatory approval limits. Place Orders for Consumables and Stationery through Company portals as requested in accordance with company processes. Establish and maintain paper (where applicable) and computer based document filing systems. General Administration Duties as required. Issue correspondence and orders to relevant suppliers and / or subcontractors Understand, adhere to, and promote Company Procedures. Who are we looking for? Take an overview of the construction works and ensure that a professional image is maintained at all times. Manage industrial relations issues. Manage quality of the works to ensure client satisfaction. Who are we looking for? The Following Are Mandatory Requirements Successful experience as a General Foreman. In-depth knowledge of company policy and procedures, safety legislation and environment issues. Demonstrate extensive experience in successfully managing all major civil engineering activities and temporary works. Experience in development and promotion of safe systems of work. Demonstrate excellent people management skills and experience in team building. Excellent communication skills, including communication with external stakeholders, e.g. public, client and Joint Ventures. Communicate with rest of site team including engineers, quantity surveyors, safety officers and the client to ensure full understanding of information. Pass this knowledge / information onto foremen to ensure understanding and their part in its delivery. Compliant with Microsoft Office, ACD, BIM 360 Field and Bam Site and BAM Nuttall software E.G. Connect & BAM People Attendance of SMSTS, Attendance of Site Briefing Presenters course, Attendance of Annual Management of Health & Safety and Your Safety Is My Safety. Complete effective Performance & Development Reviews, and ensure all objectives are met. Have an awareness of Lean. Successful completion of the BAM Manager Programme.
