What's involved with this role: Interim Head of Performance & Data – ICT Services Job Ref: Stoke 5258589 Pay Rate: £500.00 per day PAYE Hours per week: 37 Monday – Friday, normal working hours Role Length: This opening assignment is for 3 months City: Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire We are seeking a Head of Performance and Data to drive impactful change, enhance data quality, and implement data infrastructure. This role is an exciting opportunity for a leader experienced in navigating complex stakeholder landscapes, developing innovative data solutions, and advancing data strategy across key areas, including data storage, quality, and compliance for a local authority. Key Responsibilities: Lead and execute a comprehensive programme focused on data storage, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. Develop and implement a Single Person View strategy to streamline data ownership, storage, and retention. Engage and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders to build effective, sustainable solutions. Oversee the development of PowerBI applications for data consolidation, automation, and reporting. Ensure adherence to statutory requirements for data management within local authorities. Drive organisational change by aligning data strategies with business objectives and promoting data-led culture. Qualifications: Educated at degree level in the relevant field. Skills & Experience: Ability to advise on and lead a programme to implement solutions for: Data Storage and Infrastructure, Data Quality Improvement, Single Person View, Data Ownership, Storage & Retention. Ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders and develop collaborative solutions to challenges. Experience of developing and delivering data strategies for local authorities. Knowledge of PowerBI and its application in consolidating, automating and reporting data. Knowledge of the statutory requirements for local authority data management and reporting. Proven experience in leading and driving organisational change.
