Assist with the completion of the academic timetables;
o Liaise with course officers and academics to assist with the gathering and collating of timetabling information as required, including session and resource requirements and student numbers
o According to set deadlines, request the final academic timetable requirements from Schools and Departments, ensuring subsequent deadlines are met
o Ensure all timetabling information is entered onto the SharePoint Data Collector (SDC) and/or Termtime scheduling system
o Ensure the final timetables are published online within the allocated timescales and resolve any issues that arise before, during and after publication
o Ensure all timetabling information is configured to enable the production of personal student timetables including student allocations, alongside logging, managing and resolving queries from key stakeholders
o Ensure the timetabling change request policy is adhered to and all changes are logged appropriately each month
o Responsible for ad-hoc room bookings in centrally managed teaching space and maintaining an audit trail for all bookings, amendments and cancellations
o Attend regular meetings throughout the year about the timetable with departmental staff e.g. Course Officers, Programme Directors, Heads of Department and Facilities Managers
o Once a year alongside a timetabling manager meet with key school contacts involved in the timetabling process to review the previous year's timetable. Ensuring that any KPI's and reports are made available for review and discussion and any improvements to the processes are fed back to the timetabling team for review.
o Produce quality reports from the timetabling database on teaching loads, utilisation, timetabled bookings and room use and any other reports reasonably requested by Schools or senior managers within the University
