Sales Manager
Build and maintain close contact between the company and existing and new customers that leads to new product sales, services, and solutions. Lead and manage owner accounts to meet strategic goals. Lead and/or participate in sales projects in own responsibility area and report the progress to relevant stakeholders.
1. Setting targets and reviewing the performance with the GM Sales.
2. Execute or/and define action plans.
3. Develop the local market (local shipowners) which is crucial to improve and expand the install-base locally.
4. Maintain a CRM opportunity pipeline according to guidelines and issue visit reports within agreed timescales.
5. Develop an understanding of our customers' business in order to create suitable and compelling valued offerings that will enhance their business.
6. Maintain regular contact by visiting key personnel in customer organizations and to present the offering of all category products in a manner reflecting the Company's values.
7. Assist customers with budget planning for maintenance of Wärtsilä Marine products where identified.
Experienced Sales Manager with a proven track record in delivering business results.
1. Commercial: Eager to grow the business, close the deals - still securing required profit margins.
2. Consultative negotiation skills, proficient at negotiations, both technically and commercially, and able to close deals.
3. Excellent communication skills, with an ability to engage with a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
4. Presentation skills, ability to adapt the messaging to the audience.
