AWS is looking for an experienced technology leader with a proven track record to shape digital transformation for AWS ASEAN's largest Energy and O&G Enterprise Customers. This role will cover the ASEAN region.
AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success.
Key Job Responsibilities
1. Build trusted relationships with key technical C-suite decision makers - esp CIOs, CISOs and Enterprise architects; understand the customer’s technology challenges; dive deep and understand stated, unstated needs, issues.
2. Working backwards from the customer and business needs, build a holistic technology vision for IT/Digital Transformation, strategy and practical transformation plan– addressing technology challenges but also increasing business impact, innovation and agility, addressing skills and org challenges.
3. Challenge the technical status quo, inspire customer to a bolder technical vision and increase the velocity of shift to digital/cloud; Address short, mid and long-term time horizons; Work with customer, AWS leadership and all key stakeholders to create buy-in and joint ownership of transformation strategy and execution plan.
4. Provide leadership to pull together and orchestrate all AWS technical resources (Solution Architects, Service lines, Service teams) to support customer success.
5. Build a strategic eco-system of AWS consulting, integration and delivery and ISV partners to support the delivery of customer’s digital transformation outcomes, increase satisfaction, and build a sustainable platform for sales growth.
6. Advocacy - Represent the AWS technology strategy for Retail/CPG to our internally and externally, industry events, media, etc.
7. In this role you’ll act as a CIO in-residence, serving as a technology & strategy advisor for key AWS enterprise customers. You are based in our AWS Singapore office but will have remit across the ASEAN region.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1. Track record and experience in working closely with large Energy/O&G Companies.
2. 10+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience.
3. Experience in building long term trusted advisor relationships with CIOs, CDO's or equivalent.
4. Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent.
5. Experience developing technology solutions and evangelising end-to-end technology roadmaps that guide IT transformations toward cloud computing.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Strong existing CIO / CDO relationships - distributed systems design and implementation or equivalent.
2. Knowledge of large scale automation and workflow management or equivalent.
3. Knowledge of database design and implementation or equivalent.
4. Cloud experience preferably in either the Energy/O&G/Process MFG Industry.
