About the Role: Sapphire Utility Solutions are looking to appoint a Health and Safety Coordinator to work closely with the Health and Safety managers and directors you will be responsible for providing training, independent advice, guidance, and support to operational staff across contracts such as United Utilities, Severn Trent Water and Yorkshire Water. You will be focusing on delivering contractual agreements of the client and frontline support to operatives embedding good working practice and ensuring company policy and procedures are adhered to. You will also be required to keep the safety management system updated and drive adoption of a more Human Factors based approach in support of management HSEQ engagement. Location: Bamber Bridge, Lancashire Salary: £30,000 per annum Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Responsibilities – but not limited to: Provide administrative support to the SHES & Assurance teams Maintain and uphold key SHES management systems Liaison with stakeholders to ensure maintenance of SHES records Extract and generate required MI General day to day administration (arranging meetings, co ordinating diaries, issuing minutes, collating documents, filing, maintaining spreadsheets etc) Administration of key SHE Management systems Managing workload and keeping to KPI's Support induction processes Responsible for general office duties (post, parcel, visitors) Liaison with multiple workstreams across the organisation and the client Effective communication within the team Monitor and react to a range of data generated within the business Screening phone calls, enquiries and requests, and handling them when appropriate. Knowledge, experience, and qualifications required: Strong communication skills, able to interact professionally and credibly with all interfaces A qualification within Health & Safety such as NEBOSH would be advantageous Good attention to detail and organisation skills. Experience with keeping to KPI's Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information. Uses judgement to know when to ask for help and guidance. Uses own initiative and can work independently. Proficient use of all Microsoft programmes Builds appropriate professional, friendly and accessible relationships with employees and line managers. Resilient and able to work in complex and developing organisational environment. Appreciates and understands the need with confidentiality Logical and systematic thinker who enjoys working and managing detailed data.
