Aufgaben Finance Business Partner - IT
About Us
At Mercedes-Benz Cars, we're passionate about what we do. Whether we're exploring ways to make motoring more sustainable, or pushing the boundaries of technology, innovation underpins everything we do. It's an exciting time to be part of the team, so what are you waiting for?
How you'll play your part
We're looking for someone innovative and proactive, who understands the importance of clear and accessible communication when working with senior management and cross-functional teams. You'll bring proven expertise in explaining financial concepts to drive informed decision-making, alongside advanced proficiency in SAP R/3 and expert-level Excel skills to deliver in-depth reporting and actionable insights.
In this role you will take ownership and control of all IT and Digital Sales expenditure, through budgeting and reporting to the department to ensure that all spend remains within the budgetary limits set. This involves challenging key stakeholders to ensure costs are driven down and efficiencies are found.
You will develop and maintain detailed cost trackers, critically evaluate actual spend, and challenge project managers by recommending ways to stay in budget. Leveraging your exceptional relationship-building skills, you will work closely with senior leadership, influencing decisions that align with organisational objectives. You'll prepare insightful management reports with detailed commentary and analysis, updating budgets within monthly forecasts, and addressing variances to highlight key concerns and opportunities.
Applying your keen eye for detail and critical mindset, you will ensure data accuracy, challenge cost centre managers to control costs, and deliver comprehensive reports with variance and FTE analysis to support strategic decision-making. With a focus on continuous improvement, you'll drive process enhancements and maintain the highest standards of quality and integrity. You'll take direct responsibility for annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, and annual planning for IT and Digital Sales G&A. Collaborating with senior management to ensure transparency and realistic budgets, while providing guidance on cost minimisation and target achievement.
You will be ideally educated to degree level, with active progression toward a recognised professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA. Alternatively, a strong track record of being qualified by experience, with substantial and demonstrable expertise in a similar finance-focused role.
At Mercedes-Benz, we operate with integrity and therefore you are required to maintain ethical standards in accordance with our policies and adhere to the Company's Compliance Guidelines and Policies including Anti-Bribery and all relevant competition law.
