We are currently recruiting for a Shared Service Centre Team Lead Procurement Specialist for a 12 month fixed term to join our friendly team at Telford. We are looking for an experienced individual to lead and co-ordinate the Procurement Specialists. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience of SAP, especially with the SAP MM / SRM module. The position will work closely with Head of PTP, including GPR and other key areas in the business. Key responsibilities for the Team Lead, Procurement Specialist will include: • Managing the day-to-day activities of the team and motivating the team to achieve organizational goals. • Developing and implementing a timeline to achieve targets. • Conduct PDP Reviews. • Delegating tasks to team members and promote teamwork. • Conducting training of team members to maximize their potential. • Supporting the PTP Lead by embedding the global MÜLLER business processes. • Operate procurement processes including: - i. Purchase requisition ii. Maintenance and processing of purchase orders iii. Monitoring of purchase orders iv. Handling of supplier claims v. Support of performing spend analyses. vi. Support at vendor sourcing process and vendor maintenance in collaboration with GPR • Drive end-to-end process improvement, find opportunities to lead standardization and consistency for process automatization. • Analyze current state processes and systems, business requirements and future state processes and systems. • Supports the process solution development / design activities. Key skills & experience for the Team Lead, Procurement Specialist: • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Business Economics, Supply Chain or comparable academic studies. • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the area of Procurement, Supply Chain or similar. • Experience in Leading a team is essential. • Experience in SAP MM, SAP BW. • Experience in SRM / Ariba / E-Procurement • Detailed understanding of Procurement processes and experience in operational processing of procurement-related operations (e.g., Purchase Order Processing). • Fluency in English, written and spoken. • Strong analytical skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
