Role Overview:

Their innovative, award-winning work continues to grow rapidly, and they are now looking for a skilled Management Accountant to drive the financial strategy of the organisation.

In this exciting and challenging role, you will take ownership of the financial operations, working closely with the CEO and the senior leadership team. Your expertise will directly support their growth and continue to provide valuable opportunities for young people across Wales.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Newly qualified or qualified accountant (AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
* Proficiency in Xero or similar accounting software.
* Strong background in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and preparation of management accounts.
* Experience managing payroll, pensions, and tax filings.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on identifying inefficiencies and cost-saving opportunities.
* Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
* A passion for working in the third sector and understanding its unique challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take full control of financial activities within Xero, ensuring accuracy in bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting.
* Prepare timely and accurate quarterly management reports, year-end accounts, and tax returns.
* Oversee payroll and pension submissions, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
* Manage invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, and related queries.
* Develop and implement strategies for reducing costs and improving financial processes.
* Provide financial insights and reports to inform decision-making at senior management level.
* Streamline financial procedures to ensure transparency, efficiency, and compliance.
