About the role:
Based in Sefton, Merseyside:
Administrative Management:
1. Manage day-to-day administrative tasks, including filing, record-keeping, and correspondence.
2. Coordinate and schedule meetings, events, and conferences.
3. Ensure compliance with school policies and regulations.
Communication:
4. Serve as a primary point of contact for parents, students, and staff, addressing inquiries and providing information.
5. Facilitate effective communication between teachers, staff, and other stakeholders.
6. Disseminate important information through newsletters, emails, and other communication channels.
Human Resources:
7. Assist in the recruitment and onboarding of new staff members.
8. Maintain personnel records and ensure adherence to employment policies.
9. Facilitate professional development opportunities for staff.
Financial Management:
10. Assist in budget preparation and financial planning.
11. Monitor and manage school finances, including invoicing, budget tracking, and reporting.
12. Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to secure funding and grants.
Student Services:
13. Oversee student enrollment and registration processes.
14. Coordinate student activities, events, and clubs.
15. Address student concerns and provide support as needed.
Facilities Management:
16. Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of school facilities.
17. Coordinate repairs and renovations as necessary.
18. Manage inventory and procurement of school supplies.
Policy Development:
19. Collaborate with school leadership to develop and implement policies and procedures.
20. Stay informed about changes in educational regulations and adapt policies accordingly.
Qualifications:
21. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
22. Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably in an educational setting.
23. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
24. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
25. Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
26. Familiarity with educational policies and regulations.
