Job Description
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing a team that focuses solely on bespoke residential refurbishments in London. Your experience in cost reporting, tender and contract documents, CVRs, managing a team, bills of quantities, attending professional and client meetings, assigning subcontractors and suppliers aligned with procurement schedules, and mitigating commercial risks will be invaluable to our team.
Responsibilities:
* Manage a team of quantity surveyors and ensure timely delivery of projects
* Develop and implement effective cost management strategies to ensure project profitability
* Prepare and manage tender and contract documents to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
* Conduct site visits and inspections to identify potential issues and mitigate commercial risks
* Assign subcontractors and suppliers aligned with procurement schedules to ensure timely delivery of materials and services
Requirements
To be successful as a Senior Quantity Surveyor at Ernest and Florent, you will need:
* At least 7 years of experience in quantity surveying or a related field
* A strong understanding of cost management principles and practices
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Experience of working for a main contractor
* Basement experience is beneficial
* Prime residential refurbishment experience ideal
