Metalcorp NZ Ltd is a modern metal recycling facility with two South Island branches. We are currently looking for an applicant to fill an Administration role in our Christchurch Branch.
This is the perfect opportunity for someone with basic administration experience to step up to the next level or for someone from retail with good customer service skills to move across into administration.
Whilst there are a wide range of tasks, the key responsibilities will include:
1. Customer Service
2. Weighbridge Operation
3. Record Keeping
4. Coordination of our own Trucks
5. PA Duties to Senior Management
6. General Administration and Reception Duties (e.g., data entry, filing etc.)
Applicants will need basic computer skills and will need to demonstrate good written and verbal communication skills, as well as being comfortable working with numbers. A Driver’s Licence (minimum Restricted required) is also necessary.
Applicants should be team-focused, possess exceptional organisational skills, show good initiative, and maintain a positive approach. Experience in the industry is not essential as training will be provided.
This is a full-time permanent position of 44.5 hours per week, with the expected hours of work being 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Thursday and 7:30am to 4:30pm Fridays, with rotational Saturday morning work (on a roster basis).
