A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Merchandiser to join a leading multi-channel fashion business who have a number of brands. The business has been established for over 30 years and due to strong trade are looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join the Merchandising team.
Job Description
1. Forecasting sales and stock levels to achieve sale plans and margin/profit for your department.
2. Monitoring the department performance.
3. Participating in weekly trade meetings.
4. Compiling accurate out of stock lists for communication to the rest of the business.
5. Carrying out end of season analysis by brand as required.
6. Ensuring replenishment levels on bestsellers are sufficiently high.
7. Managing stock coming into the business by liaising with the buying team, freight forwarder, and warehouse.
8. Ensuring intake is being delivered to plan, availability is maintained at 100%, and out of stocks are being managed.
9. Planning allocation schedule and managing new season allocations to ensure launch availability of 100%.
The Successful Applicant
1. Previous merchandising experience as a Merchandise Admin Assistant, Senior Merchandising Admin Assistant, Assistant Merchandiser, or similar.
2. Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
