J ob Overview We are looking for a dynamic and creative Social Media and Content Executive to join our Marketing team at Segen. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our social media presence, developing engaging content, and supporting the creation of news stories and website content. You will also play a pivotal role in supporting & hosting our customer webinar programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in driving brand awareness and engagement in the renewable energy sector. Key Responsibilities: Social Media Management: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy for LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook to build brand awareness, engage with industry professionals, and generate leads. Manage and maintain the social media calendar, ensuring regular, relevant, and timely posts across all platforms. Curate and create engaging content, including product-focused posts, manufacturer campaigns, customer case studies, team highlights, educational content, and industry news. Monitor and report on social media performance metrics, using insights to optimise future content and campaigns. Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor activity to keep content fresh and relevant Content Creation: Write compelling news stories, blog posts, and articles that highlight Segen’s expertise, product offerings, and industry leadership. Collaborate with internal teams to gather insights and develop content that resonates with our target audience of renewable energy installers and large corporations. Assist in writing and editing website content, ensuring consistency in tone, messaging, and SEO optimisation. Brand Voice & Messaging: Ensure all content aligns with Segen’s brand guidelines and maintains a friendly, approachable, and professional tone. Support the development and refinement of Segen’s voice across all platforms and content. Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with the marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure content is aligned with business objectives and customer needs. Provide regular reports on content performance and social media engagement, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement. Required Skills and Qualifications: 2 years of experience in social media management, content creation, or a related role. Strong understanding of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) and B2B marketing strategies. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to create engaging and informative content. Knowledge of SEO principles and content optimisation best practices would be beneficial but not a requirement. Proficiency in content management systems, social media scheduling tools, and analytics platforms. A passion for renewable energy and sustainability is highly desirable. Preferred Skills: Experience in the renewable energy or B2B sector is a plus. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
