Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher - Tameside Position: MFL Teacher (French and Spanish) Location: Tameside Start Date: January 2025 Salary: £162-£251 per day (dependent on experience) Contract Type: Full-time, Temporary Teaching Personnel is seeking an inspiring MFL Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Tameside. If you're passionate about languages and helping students develop their communication skills, this is the ideal role for you. Key Responsibilities: Teaching French and Spanish to KS3 and KS4 students, with the potential to extend to KS5. Developing and delivering engaging lessons that enhance language acquisition and cultural awareness. Supporting students with their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in both languages. Preparing students for GCSE exams and offering targeted support to improve student performance. Encouraging a love of languages and promoting cross-cultural understanding. What We’re Looking For: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent in MFL, with expertise in both French and Spanish. Strong subject knowledge and a creative approach to teaching languages. The ability to motivate students to achieve their potential in language learning. Experience in preparing students for GCSE and A-level exams is desirable.
