Business and Administration Apprentice
Fixed term contract initially for 18 months

35 hours per week
This is an exciting opportunity to join our award-winning Apprenticeship programme. In partnership with our training provider – Lifetime Training, the programme offers you a chance to study for a Business and Administration Level 3 nationally recognised qualification, all whilst gaining practical work experience.

What will you do?
You will be working at the Preston Office. As part of your job role, you will be asked to complete tasks such as reception duties, answering telephone, issuing keys to contractors, assisting the management team with admin duties, invoicing residents and communicating with our students while in residences. All of this will be supported by the team around you, ensuring you are getting the best out of your apprenticeship!
What skills and abilities do I need to have?

On top of this, practical skills we are looking for are:
* A minimum of 2 GCSEs at grade C or above (grades 4 – 9) or equivalent in Maths and English.
* If you are under 19 years old and do not have the above GCSE grades, you would be required to complete functional skills in English & Maths. If you are over 19, then you can take the functional skills or opt out.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
* A friendly approachable manner.
