The Third-Party Risk Manager role sits within the Procurement Centre of Excellence team. Bringing together end to end risk activity across Procurement. Third-Party risk management at Bupa focuses on identifying and reducing risks relating to the use of third parties (suppliers). The Third-Party Risk Manager will manage and support the monitoring and management of third-party risk on behalf of the business and drive compliance with the Procurement policies, standards, and processes.
You’ll help us make health happen through:
* Managing the development of Procurement’s risk management strategy and internal controls framework within a third-party risk management setting.
* Ensuring compliance with the Procurement Policy and the Suppliers Outsourcing Policy in relation to Third Party Risk Management.
* Understanding the requirements and responding to changes required of a firm regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, Prudential Regulation Authority and Central Bank of Ireland.
* Understanding wider regulatory requirements e.g. from the CQC, ICO or HSE.
* Managing the Third Party Risk Management controls for the Procurement function and relating to the third-party risk landscape acting as a single point of expertise.
Key Skills needed for this role:
* Previous experience in a similar role.
* A proven Third-Party Risk Management background, with experience in working with supplier assurance and risk management frameworks.
* Demonstrate comprehension of the requirements set out in the FCA (SYSC 8/13) and PRA handbook.
* Knowledge of supply chain processes and the tools and techniques used to improve them.
* A background in Procurement is desirable.
