We are currently looking for a Planning Coordinator to join our friendly team based in Buxton.

Role Responsibility
In the role of Planning Coordinator you will be responsible for:
* The role will act as the first line planning and coordinating contact for hauliers and external contractors to ensure the effective planning of shipping of products from mortar plants.
* To act as product hub ensuring a customer first focus whilst optimising profitability and maintaining key systems to achieve this. The role will support local plant management, Commercial teams & the logistics function to focus on operational and commercial excellence in delivering profitable material solutions to the customer.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate for the role of Planning Coordinator will have experience of:
* Driving license (desirable)
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment
* Experience in planning haulage / production / plant outage schedules
* Dealt directly with customers
* Experience working with Microsoft packages
* Issue resolution / customer management
* Negotiation and customer influencing
