Between 30-37.5 hours/week. Working hours between 08:00 and 18:30 Monday to Friday (shift pattern).
To commence as soon as possible.
We are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our busy team.
The successful candidate will be keen to learn and develop, with strong customer service, communication, and organisation skills. Experience of using SystmOne clinical system is essential.
Salary is dependent on experience and skills.

Main duties of the job
Duties will include but not be exclusive to:
1. Registering new patients
2. Processing Repeat Prescriptions in accordance to Practice Protocols
3. Processing appointment requests for patients by telephone and in person
4. Dealing with visit requests
5. Customer Service i.e. meet and greet and attending to phone enquiries
6. Scanning patients' clinical documents/letters
7. Photocopying and filing medical reports
8. Processing and distributing incoming (and outgoing) mail
9. Covering colleagues in the event of sickness and shortage
10. Covering reception during the Extended hours openings on a rota basis
11. Booking community Phlebotomist
Salary is dependent on experience and skills.

Job responsibilities
Receive, assist and direct patients in accessing the appropriate service or healthcare professional in a courteous, efficient and effective way.
