We are now seeking a Validation and Compliance Technician to join our client on this journey, ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of our breakthrough climate tech solutions.
As a Validation and Compliance Technician, you will be responsible for all on-site testing of our advanced, fuel-flexible power systems. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational performance. This hands-on role will involve working closely with engineering teams to validate system functionality and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Testing & Validation
* Plan and execute comprehensive testing procedures to verify system performance and reliability.
* Conduct functional, endurance, and safety tests on electromechanical power systems.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, implementing corrective actions.
Health & Safety Compliance
* Ensure all testing procedures adhere to the latest health and safety regulations.
* Perform risk assessments and implement control measures to maintain a safe working environment.
* Collaborate with regulatory bodies and internal teams to maintain compliance with industry regulations.
Quality Assurance & Reporting
* Maintain meticulous records of test results, compliance reports, and validation documentation.
* Work closely with R&D and production teams to refine and enhance system performance.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying potential design or process improvements.
About You
You are a detail-oriented technician with a passion for precision and problem-solving. Your background in electromechanical systems, coupled with a strong understanding of health and safety, makes you a perfect fit for this role.
Essential Skills & Experience
* Hands-on experience in testing, troubleshooting, or commissioning mechanical/electromechanical systems.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to industrial testing.
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills & Experience
* Experience in compliance testing for power systems, renewable energy, or related fields.
* Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO, CE marking, or other regulatory requirements.
* Gas Safe certification or similar safety qualifications.
