We are seeking a Lead Project Engineer Integration and Validation to join our rapidly growing team.
About the Role
This pivotal role will operate in a hybrid capacity from Leamington Spa. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside some of the most visionary minds in the automotive field.
Responsibilities
* Overall responsibility for the formulation of Integration and Validation plans and strategies of electrical systems and software in our vehicles.
* Oversee and provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of engineers supporting them in generate and execute validation and acceptance test plans for new hardware and software releases.
* Responsible for ensuring integration test and validation plans and results are produced following relevant processes and adhere to quality standards.
* Manage and coordinate access to different test assets and rigs ensuring integration and validation activities are delivered in line with project expectations. Responsible for ensuring test assets are adequately maintained, providing expected level of service at different project stages.
* Responsible for organizing, planning and supporting validation work-packages, including certification tests for electrical systems, EMC tests, systems calibration, and other cross-functional design validation programs.
* Participate in analysis and review activities, FMAEs, Functional Safety etc. Ensuring the V&V workstream is adequately represented to achieve timely delivery of vehicle features across different project stages.
* Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements in integration and validation methodologies. Participate in the creation of relevant processes and guidelines.
* Responsible for ensuring manufacturing and aftersales departments are adequately supported by generating and delivering training materials and providing on-site support where necessary.

Requirements
* Significant experience in hardware and software integration and validation within an automotive workshop/prototype build engineering environment.
* Deep understanding of integration and validation strategies
* Demonstrable experience working on electrical systems integration and validation across vehicle domains.
* Leadership experience, managing work-packages and planning and coordinating integration and validation activities.
* Extensive experience working with prototype vehicles.
* Working knowledge of vehicle networks and diagnostic technologies, CAN, LIN, UDS, and network analysis tools, CANalyzer, etc.
* Awareness of automotive regulatory standards and experience planning and supporting certification activities, EMC, safety, etc.
Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £120,000 per annum
