Learning Support Assistant (LSA) – Permanent Role
Location: Basingstoke
Salary: £12.90 per hour (National Living Wage)
Contract: Full-time or minimum 4 days per week
Are you a resilient, energetic, and adaptable individual with experience working with children? We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a specialist secondary school in Basingstoke that provides temporary placements for students who are currently unable to attend their usual school. This may be due to behavioural challenges, low attendance, or difficult home circumstances.
The Role:
* Supporting students in their learning and personal development.
* Working closely with teachers and support staff to create a positive learning environment.
* Helping students manage challenges and re-engage with education.

* Experience working with children in an educational or other supportive setting.
* Strong resilience and the ability to adapt to different situations.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
