Responsibilities:
* Operate as part of a highly skilled team of employment lawyers providing advice on a broad variety of people matters including: restructures and business shaping, TUPE, corporate transactions, contractual agreements, restrictive covenants, grievances and ethical issues, disciplinary matters, internal policies and procedures, whistleblowing, compensation and benefits, terminations, disputes and litigation in the Employment Tribunal
* Advise on the legal aspects of major people related projects/initiatives
* Be highly collaborative, working closely on matters and projects to enable a seamless service to your internal customers
* Partner with key customers across the business including HR and the wider risk community
* Proactively identify, address and manage legal risk issues arising with employment law matters.
Qualifications:
* Extensive You will have the following experience and skills:
* Experienced UK qualified employment lawyer with significant in-house experience
* Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to build connections
* Ability to collaborate across the business with people and teams at all levels, inspiring trust and confidence with customers
* Proactive with a strong attention to detail
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Mature and discreet, with proven ability to handle sensitive information and situations
* Demonstrate alignment with and behavior consistent with our Shared Values
* Excellent drafting skills
* Flexible approach and ability to learn new areas quickly
