The
Credit Controller role:
We are looking for a detail-oriented
Credit Controller
to join our finance team. This role is key in ensuring the efficient management of our accounts receivable, maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting the wider accounts
team.
Your responsibilities as our
Credit Controller
will include:
Allocate all cash received on a daily basis.
Proactively chase current and outstanding debt via phone and email.
Prepare and issue customer statements and 7-day letters.
Liaise with the operations team and customers to resolve account queries.
Maintain and update customer account details.
Assist in the creation of new customer accounts with input from the Financial Controller.
Work closely with the accounts team to arrange contra agreements.
Produce various debtor reports for managers and board meetings.
Carry out general credit control administration tasks.
Carry out all reasonable management requests
Key qualifications and skills:
Previous experience in credit control is essential.
Confident, friendly, and professional approach to communication.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and manage workload effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with accounting software.
