Fairport Engineering Limited have now been acquired by pxGroup and as a result FTT has now become pxFairport. We are an Engineering and Projects Delivery business specialising in the design, installation, management and consultancy of bulk material handling systems across a number of sectors, with specific expertise in tunnelling, aggregates and ports. The Opportunity We are now recruiting a Structural Engineer, reporting to the Head of Civil / Structural, at our Adlington office. The purpose of the Structural Engineer role is to ensure that Civil/ Structural designs meet the highest standards with regards to safety, code compliance, scope alignment, quality, cost, and on-time delivery. Minimum Requirements: Degree qualified in Engineering (Civil or Structural) Experience working in a Civil / Structural Engineering field. Knowledge of the construction & process industries and applicable standards. Ability to use structural analytical software unaided (STAAD Pro or TEKLA Structures preferred). Understanding of load cases and combinations, and ability to deduce that structures are behaving as intended through calculation or analysis.
