Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and highly motivated Nursery Manager to lead our vibrant team. As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring excellence in care, learning outcomes, and staff development.
Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the daily running of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements (EYFS, Ofsted, Health & Safety).
2. Lead, support and develop a team of early years practitioners to deliver outstanding childcare.
3. Ensure that safeguarding, health, and wellbeing of all children is paramount.
4. Maintain strong partnerships with parents/carers and the wider community.
5. Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards in curriculum delivery.
6. Manage nursery budgets, staffing levels, and resources effectively.
7. Prepare for and lead on Ofsted inspections and internal audits.
8. Recruit, train, and appraise staff in line with company values and procedures.
Requirements
1. Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (Level 5+ desirable).
2. Proven experience in a senior role within an early years setting.
3. In-depth knowledge of the EYFS framework and Ofsted standards.
4. Strong leadership and communication skills.
5. Passionate about early years development and providing exceptional childcare.
6. Ability to work under pressure, be proactive, and problem-solve effectively.
7. Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
8. Enhanced DBS clearance and suitable references.
