We have partnered with an industry leading communications & talent agency looking to add an experienced finance specialist to their existing team. Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer the role holder will have demonstrable experience with Xero Accounting Software specifically. With offices in both the UK and U.S., this role is initially located onsite at the prestigious Kings Road in Central London before moving to remote basis after the first Month. If you are a motivated finance professional looking for a role offering a positive work life balance, we would love to hear from you Requirements Key Responsibilities: Xero Bookkeeping: Perform multi-currency bank and credit card reconciliations, manage accruals, prepayments, inter company reconciliations, and maintain sales and purchase ledgers. Client Expense Management: Oversee the reimbursement of client expenses using Dext (UK) and RAMP (US) platforms. Invoicing: Submit monthly sales invoices through Xero and collaborate with the wider team to ensure prompt invoicing for ad hoc events and mailers. Payment Processing: Conduct bi-weekly payment runs to ensure timely payments. Credit Control: Liaise with clients to ensure timely payments and manage outstanding balances. Management Accounts: Assist the Accountant in preparing monthly management accounts, consolidated accounts, and financial summaries (Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss). Cashflow Reporting: Provide monthly reporting and analysis of actual vs. forecasted figures. Collaboration: Build strong working relationships with wider team, the US office, and outsourced Accountant to foster a positive and engaging work environment. Ideation: Suggest and implement new and improved processes within the finance department. Key Skills: Proficiency in Xero for bookkeeping and invoicing (essential). Experience with client expense management platforms such as Dext and RAMP. Strong understanding of payment processing and credit control. Ability to prepare and analyse management accounts and cashflow reports. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Innovative mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
