About the Role:
As a Project Surveyor, you will play a critical role in overseeing cost management, procurement, and contract administration on complex projects involving structural alterations. You will work closely with design teams, contractors, and clients to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on ensuring project success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee project cost management from inception to completion.
* Conduct valuations, cost forecasting, and financial reporting.
* Manage subcontractor procurement and contract negotiations.
* Ensure projects adhere to budgets and timelines.
* Collaborate with design and construction teams to implement structural alterations.
* Identify and mitigate financial risks.
* Monitor project progress, variations, and claims.
* Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.
About You:
You will have 5-6 years of experience as a Project Surveyor, with a strong background in structural alterations in construction projects. You will possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, along with a collaborative approach to project delivery.
Essential Requirements:
* 5-6 years of experience as a Project Surveyor.
* Strong knowledge of structural alterations in construction projects.
* Experience working with NEC or JCT contracts.
* Excellent cost management and procurement skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
