Health and Safety Manager for a global manufacturing and distribution organisation in Rugby, Warwickshire. Hybrid working, £50,000 per annum plus benefits.
This role involves maintaining H&S compliance according to relevant legislation across the business. The successful candidate will lead the Health and Safety team to promote a positive safety culture, drive continuous improvement and maintain Health and Safety as the Company's number one priority.
Responsibilities include managing a small team, maintaining accreditation to OHSAS:18001 Health and Safety Management Systems, reviewing the H&S policy, ensuring emergency and response processes are defined, and conducting full compliance audits.
Requirements include NEBOSH certification, experience in the manufacturing or distribution sector, knowledge of relevant HSE legislation, and a working knowledge of 18001, 14001 or equivalent management systems.
The ideal candidate will be commercially aware, have strong project management skills, and enjoy building strong working relationships with key colleagues and stakeholders.
