JOB TITLE: Procurement Specialist JOB LOCATION: Belfast TERMS: Permanent THE JOB Fibrus are looking for a proactive and detail-orientated Procurement Specialist to join our team. Working alongside the finance and operational teams, we are looking for someone with strong stakeholder management skills, with a flair for influencing and negotiating with suppliers. Generating Purchase Orders to ensure on-time delivery of materials to meet project demands. Negotiating pricing and lead-times for materials or goods & services Evaluation and negotiation of agreements in line with procurement procedures. Monitoring PO commitments and inventory levels against forecast requirements. Monitor business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times. Participating in regular in-person supplier meetings & reviews Manage supplier relationships to optimise cost, quality and operational efficiency and assess potential alternative suppliers. Introduce improvements to the forward planning process to highlight potential supplier capacity constraints. Ensuring support for overall company direction and growth. Working collaboratively with other stakeholders on any changes to build programmes or changes in materials to minimise write-off. Ensure risks and issues are identified in a timely manner and actively mitigated. WHAT WILL YOU BRING? Significant experience in a similar role Experience of working in indirect procurement activities Experience working with ERP system (transactional inputting and accurate reporting) Strong Microsoft suite and reporting skills The ability to work as part of a team and own initiative An analytical mind-set: comfortable manipulating large volumes of data Experience in a process driven environment. Experience of supplier and stakeholder management in a complex organisation Excellent communication skills Organisational skills and the ability at any stage to manage changing priorities within tight deadlines while ensuring quality output and delivery of results.
