We are now looking for a Account Manager to join our team anywhere in Scotland. The Account Manager will be responsible for cultivating and maintaining strong relationships within Enterprise Accounts throughout Scotland and North England. This role will focus on driving long-term growth and development with Consultants, Contractors, End-users, building customer relationships within the territory, promoting the full Vertiv portfolio (AC Power UPS, Thermal Management, Emergency Lighting and IRS). Success will be measured by sales contribution and the ability to develop new business within the territory or region. The expectation of the individuvial, is: Develop and execute Enterprise account plans to drive growth and profitability within assigned region. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, including end-users, contractors, and consultants aligned with Enterprise, C&I and Retail Collaborate closely within the sales team, technical support, and application engineering to provide exceptional customer service and solutions. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts, expanding Vertiv's share of wallet. Secure order input, deliver on sales targets and revenue goals. Provide accurate forecasting and reporting on account activity and performance. RESPONSIBILITIES Long-term building and maintaining of relationships with the allocated National Accounts, working to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and facilitating a best-in-class customer experience. Consistently promote Vertiv’s product and service offering throughout the hierarchy of the allocated accounts, engaging with content that is relevant and profiled to the different stakeholders. Continuously informs accounts of new product developments and service offerings that could be applicable to their business segment, investigating and identifying short- and longer-term solutions and coordinating the Vertiv sales force to engage and generate proposals. Prepare competitive bid solutions in response to enquiries. Close working with Vertiv’s project delivery team to manage client expectation and to ensure project deliverables are both compliant and meet / exceed customer demands. Responsible for sales & profitability level for the accounts at a national level, and therefore responsible for pricing and bid consistency within the region. with the goal of constantly improving it to bring more value to the customer, to you, the team and the organization. Sales activities, related administrative activities, reporting and your own development are all important and lead to your success in the role. QUALIFICATIONS Strong knowledge either with Thermal products, Data Centre infrastucture or UPS, AC Power Strong experience in business negotiations Excellent commercial experience to understand customer(s) and the Vertiv business environment. Strong experience in relationship building activities with customers. High ability to develop and execute strategic plans. Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship builder.
