Position Overview: We are seeking a compassionate and motivated (FEMALE) Team Leader to oversee our (female only) supported living services in Copenhagen. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing a team of support workers, ensuring high-quality care and support for our clients and fostering a positive working environment.
As a Team Leader, you will lead a team of Support Workers to deliver bespoke and person-centred support plans for individuals with mental health and/or learning disabilities that display challenging behaviours and complex needs. You will play a lead role in ensuring a therapeutic environment is provided and maintained that promotes choice, wellbeing, and the promotion of an independent lifestyle for the People We Support. You will also play a key role in developing the potential of the Support Workers and helping them reach the next stages of their careers.

Key Responsibilities:
* Leadership & Management: Lead, supervise, and support a team of support workers, ensuring they provide excellent care and support to clients.
* Client Support: Develop and implement individualised support plans in collaboration with clients, their families, and other professionals.
* Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain high standards of care in line with company policies and CQC regulatory requirements.
* Training & Development: Identify training needs and opportunities for staff development, ensuring continuous professional growth.
* Administrative Duties: Manage rotas, oversee the completion of accurate records and reports, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Communication: Act as a key point of contact for clients, families, and external agencies, fostering strong and effective communication.
Main Job Duties:
* Lead, manage, and develop a team of support workers and act as a champion for service users’ safety and dignity.
* Organise, support, and be responsible for the team of Support Workers in their general daily work.
* Act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice.
* Conduct supervisions, observations, welfare checks, and provide a thorough induction process for new support workers.
* Effectively plan and deploy staff according to assessed needs, covering for senior and support workers during absences.
* Lead on implementing safeguarding policy and practice in the locality.
* Represent the supported living service at external and internal meetings.
* Ensure the health and safety of service users; manage day-to-day risks and implement safety measures.
* Promote the professional image of the services through excellent communication and appropriate behaviour.
* Maintain skills and knowledge, ensuring care is delivered according to the latest guidelines.
* Carry out internal and external observations for all senior support staff.
* Provide Manager On-Call service.
* Adhere to all company Policies and Procedures.
* Understand the requirements of the Mental Capacity Act (2019) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (2008).
* Manage service users' budgets and audit financial records.
* Plan and implement the transition of new service users, ensuring all risk assessments are in place.
* Maintain positive contact with family, carers, or service users.
* Investigate complaints, concerns, or incidents, recording findings and actions taken.
* Manage auditing of the senior support workers regarding Motability cars.
What we are looking for:
* 2 years experience in the health and social care sector.
* Previous supervisory or management experience in a similar setting.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Relevant Level 3/4 or 5 qualification (or working towards).
* Strong organisation and time management skills.
* Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, including CQC requirements.

Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
